India Post on the occassion of INDIPEX 2011 brought out a special stamp on Gandhi Ji to commemorate the event. The stamp is unique as it is printed on “Khadi”, the handspun cotton material that Gandhi Ji held as the symbol of self determination and self reliance.
The Presentation Pack was released by Smt. Pratibha Patil, the President of India on Saturday 12th February 2011 at INDIPEX 2011, the World Philatelic Exhibition being held in New Delhi, the capital of India. Cost: 100 Rs.
As I could not go to Indipex, 2011, I ordered this by placing order here. I have not received it, eagerly waiting for it.
